Esser Design is a Phoenix-based branding, marketing, and communications firm founded in 1982, known for building strategic, integrated brand and campaign systems across print, digital, and environmental media. The firm’s client roster spans state and municipal government, higher education, tourism, healthcare, and nonprofit sectors — including the State of Arizona, City of Phoenix, Arizona State University, and PING — and it has been recognized as one of Arizona’s most creative companies. For this task order, Esser Design brings four decades of Arizona-market experience and a proven track record leading multidisciplinary creative teams from concept through final production.
Andrew Benson
Producer
Andrew Benson is a Phoenix-based creative producer, director, and assistant director, and founder of Inquire Films, working nationally as a line producer/AD on commercial projects and as a producer/director of marketing content; his credits include producing the 2023 Arizona Office of Tourism campaign for Off Madison Ave, along with commercial work for Apple, Waymo, Amgen, Arizona State University, and the University of Phoenix. He holds ADDY recognition and a Rocky Mountain Emmy for Best Documentary (Mitchell 20), and serves as treasurer and past president of the Arizona Production Association. On this task order, Benson will lead scouting, permits, talent logistics, crew, and shoot operations.
Brandon Sullivan
Director/Photographer
Brandon Sullivan is a Phoenix-based advertising, editorial, and corporate photographer and director whose studio specializes in environmental portraiture, lifestyle, and conceptual photography for print and digital, shot on location or at his Legend City Studios in downtown Phoenix; his client list includes the Phoenix CVB, Arizona Highways, ASU, Northern Arizona University, PING, SRP, APS, Hilton, Google, and Waymo, along with prior agency work with Esser Design and past AOT collaboration with Benson. On this task order, Sullivan will co-produce alongside Benson, direct the stills library (with and without color overlay), serve as DP as needed, and oversee stills post-production.
Brian Tooker
Editor, Color, and Post Production
Brian Tooker is owner and post supervisor of FORM Post, a Phoenix post house offering editorial, motion graphics, color correction and grading, and finishing for commercial, narrative, and social work, and is recognized by the Arizona Production Association as FORM Post’s contact, with more than ten years of experience focused on color finishing and motion design. On this task order, Tooker will edit, color, and finish the :15 and :30 persona films; having already completed prior AOT work, including current Vibrant Arizona videos, he can efficiently match established Year 1 finishing standards.
