The University of Arizona College of Fine Arts was looking to enhance their web presence across all five of their main websites. The first site to be redesigned was for the College itself. We developed a new tagline “Live in the Arts” as well as a navigation structure that would also apply to the future School sites. The concept for the large header image area was to display both performance and behind the scenes images to accurately portray what it means to live in the arts at the UofA.
Various subpage templates were designed including one for high level content that displayed the College’s amazing photography in a full-width, large header area. A sidebar navigation structure was developed to provide users access to lower level pages within the site.
A default page template was designed to accommodate a large percentage of content on lower level pages throughout the site. Multiple image options were built into the template including a header, inset and image gallery for ultimate flexibility for including assets. Event and news feeds were included in the sidebar to highlight more dynamic content.
The news and events page incorporates RSS feeds from all four school sites for a comprehensive look at what’s happening within the College of Fine Arts.
The University of Arizona College of Arts was designed and built to be responsive for optimal viewing on all screen sizes.
