The goal of the illustrative show art series is to deliver a memorable, emotive portrayal of each opera. Featuring its central characters, the artwork is also brought to life through animated segments developed for TV and digital marketing.

Cultivating Tomorrow’s Audiences

Using social media posts from new young patrons encouraging peers to come to the Opera for a perfect night out in San Diego. Other communication materials included redesigned playbills for theatre patrons, featuring detailed information about the Opera and its featured artists.

Opera is Truly Universal

Season ticket holders and new subscribers received Opera is Universal, an early-season appeal inviting them to support the Opera’s mission and discover opportunities for deeper involvement.
